When I purchased my Road ID I never really believed that I would have to use it. Unfortunately while out on a leisurely ride with a few friends one evening I was struck by a Jeep in a parking lot. The collision left me dazed and confused. When I arrived at the hospital, the Triage Nurse saw my Road ID and said that she had seen them before and that she thought that they were "Golden". Every medical professional that I encountered that night either knew about the Road ID or complimented me for having one.
Thankfully, I will have a full recovery, but my Bianchi bike was totaled. I want you to know that I wear my Road ID when I am on my road bike, on my mountain bike in the woods, or just walking out my front door. Thank you for the great product.
