I have had the ID band for many years, just in case I needed it. It is like insurance, you have it but do not want to use it. Early this spring after a workout I had an incident in a department store. I do not know who saw the ID Band on my wrist - store employee, EMS or Police - but they used it to call my family who called a local friend to meet me in the hospital.
