I just wanted to give you a bit of feedback on Road ID. I live in Australia and wear my Road ID wristband all the time. A couple weeks ago, I was out cycling on my own and had a crash. I don't know how it happened, as I was unconscious for about 45 minutes. When I “came to”, I was already in the ambulance, on my way to the hospital. By the time I regained consciousness, the EMTs knew who I was, my allergies, and various other personal details. I have to say a big thank you to everyone at Road ID!
I have just posted a recommendation for you guys to all of my friends on Facebook - including all my friends in my Triathlon Club. A worthy investment! Thanks, again!
Update: the accident was just over two weeks ago and I bounced back well, despite spending a day in hospital and a week off work recovering. I just did my first Half Ironman, and I am very happy!
