Earlier this year, I was involved in a horrific bike crash involving a stray dog and a brick mail box. As I was riding along, I turned around to yell at the dog, drifted slightly to the right, and hit a brick mailbox with my exposed right chest. My iPhone app said I was going 38mph at the time. Thankfully, there was a good samaritannearby who rushed to my aid. The impact separated 5 ribs and caused massive damaged to my right lung. I was unable to speak, but the lady who was helping me called 911 and then called my wife, who's contact info was on my Wrist ID Elite.I was helicoptered to a level 1 trauma center in Ft. Worth where I spent 10 days in the ICU. The trauma doctor told me as I was checking out that during the first 48 hours in the ICU, and they had given me a 2% survival chance. I credit my Savior and my Road ID for my recovery!
After a long recovery, I finally got to ride again last week. Anyway, even though I am only riding now around the neighborhood and not out on the road , I feel safer with your product. Thanks, again.
