I am writing to let you know how happy my family and I are with Road ID. We are a family in Denmark, and we are cycling enthusiasts. Our son, Christian, was recently training in the countryside near our summerhouse when an elderly couple backed out into the bike lane, where Christian approached at high speed.He smashed into the car, crashed his bike, and fell unconscious. He was taken 40 km by ambulance to the hospital where he was treated for a severe concussion and many scrapes and scratches. Fortunately, for us and for him, he was wearing his Road ID, and the police were able to contact us right away. We were able to arrive at the hospital only 15 minutes after he was admitted.
No one in our family will ride without a Road ID, and we tell all the cyclists we know to purchase one as well – you never know when an accident will occur.
