I was recently out on a training ride when I was hit by a car. I have no memory of what actually happened. Fortunately, someone found me, but I was apparently not very lucid. I was then rushed to the hospital where I was diagnosed with a pierced lung, blood on the brain, a huge hematoma on my right side, and many scrapes and bruises.At the hospital, they used my Road ID to access my information -- contact info, medical history, and everything else. When I woke up at the hospital, my brother and sister-in-law were with me, and my wife and children were on their way.
