A little over a week ago, I had a blowout on my front tire while traveling downhill on a Butte County road. I went over the handlebars, and upon hitting the pavement, I lost consciousness. My next memory is waking up with EMTs and a CHP officer as they were trying to get information from me.
Thank God I always ride with my Road ID -- it gave them all the necessary information they needed. My wife, who was my initial contact, was out of cell range, but the EMTs were able to contact my son and daughter in law. My daughter in law said that the EMTs were very thankful that I was wearing my Road ID.
Thankfully, my incident convinced two of my riding partners to order their own Road IDs. Your company provides a very valuable service, one that I am most thankful to be associated with.
Update: I am doing fine with no after effects from the accident.
