I want to thank you for this much needed and brilliant invention. I purchased a Road ID as a birthday gift for my husband, Steve. I wanted him to have ID with him while training for his triathlons. There just isn't an easy way to carry identification on a bike or while running and swimming.Recently, Steve was struck by a pick up truck while cycling. Thanks to the Road ID on his wrist, the first responders were quick to call me to let me know what happened and what hospital they were taking him to.
While he was pretty roughed up, he was lucky to be alive. He has since had surgery to repair the broken bones and has several plates and screws holding it all together. He is now referred to as my "Iron Man"!
Steve is recovering and will be back on the roads eventually. I truly feel that Road IDs can be a life saver when the unexpected happens.
