Over the Summer, I had an asthma attack that sent me to the Emergency Room and it wasdetermined that I actually had full-blown asthma. After that, I wore the band every day. It's comfortable (not an easy feat when the wearer has Autism Spectrum Disorder), and it's garnered many compliments for style and visibility.
I didn't think I would need the Interactive Version, but on Friday, I had another attack.... That resulted in my first ambulance ride. It became apparent that if I hadn't been able to give my information, the band couldn't possibly hold all of the new medications that were added. I just bought a new ID, with the interactive feature added, so that there will always be access to up-to-date information (because a phone is only helpful if it has battery power).
Hopefully, this will be the last time I end up in the ER, but I will be able to run, work, and live life with the peace of mind that someone will be there to speak for me when I cannot.
