I have known for a long time that I need to carry ID when I walk or hike. Seldom, however, did I do what I knew I should. When I remembered to carry ID (which wasn't regularly) I might carry my driver's license, my health card, or even a luggage tag! The importance of having proper ID really hit home a few weeks agowhen a fellow employee was out for a run, suffered a heart attack, and wasn't carrying ID. As I got ready for my walk that evening, I grabbed a marker and put my name and phone number inside my shoes. It became obvious that wasn't a lasting solution, since the ink smeared all over my socks. I figured there had to be someone out there that made ID tags for active people, and Road ID is it. My ID problem is finally solved.
