I am a triathlete. In July I was involved in a bad bicycling accident. I was hit by a sport motorcycle as he was flying down a mountain road. I "only" suffered three broken bones and massive road rash. I am lucky it wasn't worse. When the ambulance arrived, the officer reached down and took the Road ID off my shoe to get the information he needed.
I also had my license and personal information in my bike bag, but it was taken away. Therefore, my Road ID was the only ID I had when taken to the hospital.
A few weeks after my accident, I emailed everyone in the triathlon community here in Atlanta, and told them they needed to get a Road ID. Thanks for offering a great product.
