I am a huge supporter of Road ID. I was on a bike ride- one that I take every week- going up a 9 mile climb in the Santa Barbara area. I was distracted... hit a bump in the road, and the next thing I remember is waking up in the ER of a local hospital. Thanks to my Road ID, the fire department knew my name, age, allergies and the hospital was able to look me up quickly. Not to mention, my husband and son were notified immediately. The hospital even called ME to tell me how great they thought the Road ID was!
Thankfully, nothing was broken. My helmet saved my brain and head. I am slowly resting and recovering from my trauma. I still can't remember anything about the crash itself, but I feel like I'm on the mend, and plan to start riding again in a few weeks! Thank you so much for your product. I am a firm believer. I think anyone who participates in outdoor activities should wear a Road ID. Whether it be walking, running, biking, or even motorcycling...this bracelet is necessary.
