I was riding my bike home from work the other day with my husband, when I unexpectedly hit some railroad tracks. I was thrown off my bike and knocked unconscious. An ambulance arrived and took me to the hospital, but my husband had to stay behind with the bikes. My Interactive Road ID was a huge help to the hospital and EMT staff. They got all the information they needed to begin treatment.I'm now in recovery mode. The crash left me with major road burn, a broken elbow, and a broken wrist.
