A few years ago, I was hit by a vehicle. I was riding on a straight two lane farm road when a small truck pulled out in front of me. I tried to dodge him, but wound up hitting the rear of his truck, and was knocked unconscious. When paramedics arrived, I was out of sorts and rather than answering questions, I simply pointed to my Ankle Road ID.I now never ride without wearing ID. My wife and dog even have one!
