I was unfortunate enough to be involved in a road accident while out for a training cycle. I was hit head on by a car and thankfully, as I have done for the last number of years, I was wearing my Road ID Elite band and was also using the Road ID App.I was knocked unconscious in the impact, but the attending EMTs were able to get my relevant information from my band. My wife also knew straight away about my accident after getting the stationary alert from the App. She knew the exact location of the collision and was able to get the hospital much quicker.
Please keep up the good work – I will be I pushing everyone I know to get a Road ID.
