A year ago today, I was out cycling. I then awoke THREE weeks later in the hospital to discover that I had crashed and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Apparently, the only contact I made with the asphalt was with my helmet - no broken bones, no road rash, just the inability to recall what had happened.I was wearing my Road ID at the time of the accident, which EMTs used to contact my wife while I was rushed to the emergency room.
UPDATE: Miraculously, since the accident, I have logged over 1,000 miles on my bike. And I never leave the house without Road ID! Thank you for such a wonderful product.
