A good friend of mine was recently involved in a hit and run situation while she was out on her morning run. Fortunately, she survived the accident; however, she suffered a broken leg, severe concussion, many bruises, and road rash.She was also fortunate that a car came upon her shortly after the accident and offered assistance. My friend wears a Shoe ID at all times, and the passerby used it to contact her husband and also to provide her identity to the police.
I now wear Road ID and encourage my friends and family to do the same!
