I do have a story...
I ride a motorcycle and have for years. On one of my rides, with my wife on the back we stopped at an overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We wanted a picture.
I asked a gentleman sitting in a lawn chair reading, would you take our picture.
He said sure, and then he said: "and I will see you later..."
Curiosity got to me and i said, how is that?
He said I am a trauma surgeon at the hospital just down the hill.
I couldn't help but think...so how would they know who I am?
Now having the Road ID, not only do they know who I am, that I am diabetic, how to contact others, and it is right there on my wrist for all to see.
